Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko Shines with a State-of-the-art Spa Centre
The award-winning Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena Bansko features one of the biggest and best-equipped spa centres in the region. It was fully renovated in spring 2018. The new-generation Kempinski The Spa is known for its signature treatments, authentic Thai
massages and state-of-the-art facilities.
The spa centre features unique thermal facilities of the world-leading Germany company Klafs. Guests can enjoy a tailor-made aroma steam bath, which is not only the first of its kind in Bulgaria but the first to be produced by the German manufacturer. The
modern Kempinski The Spa offers four different types of saunas: a last-generation herbal sauna; an infrared cabin with built-in biometric sensors for body temperature, blood pressure and heartbeat; an authentic Finnish dry sauna; and an innovative sanarium – a
combination of steam bath and sauna. The thermal area also has a self-heating wellness bench laconium, an individual design of architects Margarita Bojinova and Slavin Bailov; two experience showers for heat-cold contrast with four exotic experiences – warm
tropical rain, cold waterfall, refreshing mist and power jets; an energising snow room with a constant temperature of -13 ºC for cryotherapy; and a specially organised deep digital detox area, equipped with five self-heating ergonomic wellness beds, adjustable
according to the individual preferences of the client. Here, guests can immerse themselves in a fairy tale of fire and ice in front of a fireplace, opposite which is located an ice fountain for refreshment and a designer Himalayan fountain with drinking water to
quench the thirst. Extending over 1,200 sq m, Kempinski The Spa features a further 13 treatment rooms, one indoor and two outdoor swimming pools, an outdoor children’s pool and one outdoor and one indoor Jacuzzi. The guests of the spa centre can enjoy the
world-renowned and preferred by the Brazilian football legend Neymar – NORMATEC technology – a leg-recovery system for use after exercise to enhance blood flow and speed up recovery. The modern spa centre also features BEMER body-recovery
technology, the favourite of the Austrian ski racer and five-time World Cup champion Marc Girardelli. The Bemer device delivers specific pulsed electromagnetic therapy to increase blood-vessel circulation and is ideal for virtually anyone, from the active athlete
to teenage children. Kempinski The Spa is also famous for its exclusive St. Barth cosmetic lines, with entirely natural ingredients from the famous Caribbean island of St Barths. The only Kempinski The Spa in Bulgaria is managed by the fastest-growing global
spa company, Resense Spa S.A., together with around 50 other Kempinski The Spas around the world.
